#PancakeDay Here is a micro fiction story for all who makes pancakes for a hungry family.
Day 11: I have come to realize that my captors only keep me alive for the pancakes I make. Flour is running low.
Pancakes
1 1/2 All Purpose Flour
2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Pinch Of Salt
2 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
3/4 Cup Sugar
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Thanks, Shehanne. It’s taken me a couple of years to figure out what I’m trying to do.

More milk = crepe like pancakes. 🙂 I also add vanilla to mine and cinnamon on occasion. Next recipe apple butter syrup.
