Where foodways are the cultural, social and economic practices relating to the production and consumption of food. (EG. Pumpkin pie at Thanks Giving, Santa’s Cookies, Latke’s of Chanukah.) Tales from the Cook like fairytales, are foodie tales on the fantasy side of our social and cultural food traditions. Foodie tales are stories of how people are transformed by food and food is transformed by people.
